At Wooden Floors by Malcolm we believe your hardwood floors must be both beautiful and durable. Refinishing that is not both beautiful and durable is not good value.  Refinishing is all we do, so we spend a little more on materials and take a little longer to create the beauty and durability than mean value to you! 

In the 'natural finish' we often start with tung oil / Danish oil as a first coat for a distinct, deeper, richer, sharper, warmer, more colourful wood image, then 2 additional coats of Aluminum Oxide urethane for 3 coats of protection overall.

Wooden Floors by Malcolm has been refinishing and restoring a wide range of wood floors and stairways primarily in the Hamilton, Wentworth and Halton areas since 1987.  During our 25 years, Wooden Floors by Malcolm has used a wide range of techniques, tools, materials, stains, and finishes while working with private homeowners, investors, builders, flooring retailers, architects and designers. We believe in innovation and have been developing a new hardwood floor system -- a hybrid roll vinyl flooring with genuine hardwood veneer.  New product development is ongoing.
